How a Libertarian Israel would Deal with Stabbers

I get this question a lot. If there is no government how do you deal with stabbers and murderers, and attempted murderers? Wouldn’t an anarcho-capitalist society just fall apart in chaos?

Well, what they do now is destroy the home of the guy that did the stabbing, and that is the best we can hope for. This is a total waste of capital. In a private property society, the owner of the property on which the crime was committed, whether it is a sidewalk, a street, a park, whatever, would have his private insurance company apprehend the criminal, but what would likely happen is armed citizens would apprehend him, or kill him. If he survived, he would be tried in a private court very quickly. If convicted, his assets would go to the victim according to Perek HaChovel. If he did not survive, any assets go to the victim. Instead of destroying the guy’s house, it would be sold to the victim who could do with it whatever he wanted.

If Arabs had their houses handed over to a Jew after a stabbing, they wouldn’t stab. What the hell is the logic of destroying a house when it can be easily given over to the victim?

If the criminal had no assets, he would be his victim’s slave until the debt is repaid. A slave does not mean he is in the the victim’s house, because who would want his would-be murderer hanging out with him? His slave meaning whatever he earns, those wages are garnished and given to the victim until everything is repaid. If he was killed and had no assets, then nothing can be done. He’s dead, that’s enough, especially considering what happens now. Which is he is rescued, sent to a government hospital for taxpayer funded medical care, sent to a government prison for taxpayer funded housing and food, and then released when the next government soldier is kidnapped and exchanged for a bunch of murderers.

 

 

Devarim Rabbah, Chapters 9 and 11, Anarcho Libertarianism and Judaism

This is my own English translation of the Hebrew, which you can find here. I left out chapter 10 which deals with the minarchic position that a King is required. That chapter is sandwiched between two anarchist sources, implying that the middle position of chapter 10 is rejected.

This was compiled by the Yerushalmi Chazal, as opposed to the Babylonian, who were of the opinion that appointing a king is a positive mitzva. The Yerushalmi, AKA Palestinian Chazal did not see it that way. Chapter 11 is a beautiful one. For beginners, Midrash reads like a Rabbinic stream of consciousness on the surface, but it is much more than that. The flow and order has messages of its own put in by the editors, and a lot of the wordplay that makes Midrash what it is, is sadly lost in translation.

The messianic vision here is obviously no king at all, just God ruling over Israel directly. That’s it.

Chapter 9

Do not let a flatterer rule, lest he mislead the people. (Job 34)

The sages say: Because kings ruled over Israel and began enslaving them, the Holy One Blessed Be He said, “Did you not abandon me by asking for kings?!” Hence: “Let me place a king over myself…” (Deuteronomy 17:14)

The verse states: (Psalms 146) Do not trust in princes etc.

Rabbi Simon said, in the name of Rabbi Joshua ben Levi: All who trust in the Holy One Blessed Be He merit being like Him. What is the source?

The verse states (Jeremiah 17): Blessed be the man who trusts in God, and God shall be his guarantor.”

But all who trust in idolatry, are punished to be like idols. What is the source?

The verse states (Psalms 115): Like them shall their fashioners be.

The sages say: All who rely on ephemeral flesh and blood will have their fortune be ephemeral, as it says (Psalms 146) In man who saves not.

What is written afterwards? His spirit will leave and he will return to the dust.

Said the Holy One Blessed Be He: Do you not know that flesh and blood is nothing, and you set aside My honor and say, “Appoint a king over me”?!

By your lives! By the end you will realize what will come upon you thanks to your king.

What is the source? As it says, (Hoshea 7) All their kings have fallen. There is none that calls to Me.

Chapter 11

Another interpretation:

I will place a king over me

The sages say: Said the Holy One Blessed Be He: In this world you requested kings and kings from Israel rose up and killed you by the sword.

Saul killed them at Mount Gilboa. What is the source?

(1 Samuel, 4) Israel fled from the Philistines (Note: I don’t know how this relates to Saul)

David caused a plague, as it says (2 Samuel 24) God sent a plague on Israel [because of David].

Ahab stopped the rain, as it says (1 Kings 17): There will be no rain or dew for these years.

Zedekiah destroyed the Temple.

When Israel saw what happened to them during the reign of their kings, they all started screaming: We do not want a king from Israel! We want our original King! (Isaiah 33) For God is our Judge and our Legislator. God is our King and our Savior!

Said the Holy one Blessed Be He to them: By your lives! This I will do!

What is the source?

As it says (Zechariah 14) And God will be King over all the Earth etc.

It is absolutely clear from here that Devarim Rabbah’s interpretation of that verse we all say at the end of עלינו is anarchy. No king, no government. Just God, king over all the Earth, period. That is what I pray for. That is what I want. By now I have finally expunged את צמח דוד from my שמונה עשרה. I no longer say it on autopilot.

Maybe I’m finally getting somewhere.

One more nothing the government should do to stop attacks

With thanks to God who provided me with a job that I do not have to commute for, I can avoid the roads and risk of having my car stoned every day. In order to stop those attacks, the government has to do nothing. They need to do NOTHING the next time a car is stoned, and an armed person gets out of the car and shoots dead the person who threw the rock.

I would guarantee that if the government followed a policy of doing nothing when someone who just had their car stoned gets out of his car and kills the person who threw the rock, there would be no more car stonings, period.

Getting your car stoned is serious business. It is attempted murder. People forget the case of baby Yehuda Shoham who was murdered by rock throwers in 2001. He would have been 14 today.

The government needs to follow a policy of doing nothing when anyone responds to rock throwers with lethal force. Within a day, there will be no more rock throwing, period.

As George Zimmer says, “I guarantee it.”

But for now, we all have to just drive past and hope we don’t get killed, because if any of us dare shoot back, we will spend the rest of our lives in government cages fending off gang rape by criminals who could not meet government imposed minimum wage productivity levels.

When these attacks happen, shortsighted people blame Arabs. I blame the government, because they are the ones perpetuating it. Any time a rock attack happens, it’s Netanyahu’s fault, because HE forbids us from stopping them. Netanyahu is personally responsible for every death.

(If there are any government agents reading this, let me reiterate that I am absolutely against any violence against State leaders.)

I ask that Netanyahu do NOTHING to protect us; just let us protect ourselves

2 people killed today. More stabbing attacks in Ra’anana and Jerusalem. I am not joining in on calling for the Israeli government to “do something”. I do not want the government to “do something”. I do not want to impose closures, or bomb Gaza, or invade Arab cities or homes or anything. I want the government to do NOTHING. Not just any nothing, a very particular kind of nothing. Here is a list of six things of NOTHING that I want the government to do in response to this wave of murder:

  1. I want the Israeli government to do NOTHING when they see me carrying a knife. I want them to leave me alone and let me protect myself. In Israel it is illegal to carry a knife under threat of 5 years in a government cage. People are lining up at Ricochet (a camping chain) to buy knives but since they are illegal to carry, Ricochet cannot sell them.
  2. I want the government to do NOTHING when the see someone carrying a gun without a license. People should be able to buy a handgun immediately, today, right now, without a waiting period, without registering with the government (registering with the store is fine if they require it privately), and without a government issued license (private license is fine).
  3. I want the government to do NOTHING when they see a group of Jews pummeling and knifing an attacker to death.
  4. I want the government to do NOTHING to return the body to where it came from.
  5. I want Netanyahu to get on TV and tell everyone he will do NOTHING. Not a thing, except allow all of us to protect ourselves however we see fit.
  6. I want all Knesset Members and Ministers to take a permanent vacation to the Caribbean to do NOTHING which I would personally fund raise for just to get them out of here so they don’t start another war for fun.

 

Inane Israeli police keep losing their guns to knife wielders…gevalt

The people that are supposed to be protecting the State seem a little pathetic from the reports I’ve been reading. This just in the Jerusalem Post.

According to police, when the attacker failed to snatch the soldier’s weapon, he then tried to choke the soldier, took out a knife and stabbed him.

While the bus was stopped near the capital’s International Convention Center, a citizen struggled with the suspected terrorist. Police that were on the scene nearby entered the bus.

A police officer then struggled with the suspected terrorist, who managed to apprehend his gun.

Afterward, additional police forces arrived to the scene, saw the terrorist with the pistol, and shot him dead.

Wait, so let me get this straight. Some guy tries to take a soldier’s gun. Then he strangles the soldier and stabs him. Then a passenger wrestles him and police, with more guns, get on the bus. Then a policeman fights the stabber, and the stabber somehow gets the policeman’s gun before SOMEONE figures out that he should just shoot the guy already and get rid of the problem.

Wow. Our state security can’t even keep their own guns away from stabbing criminals.

I understand that shooting a gun on a bus is not a good idea. Anyone who goes outside should be armed with a knife at least, in the event that shooting a gun is too risky.

STABBING HACK Before Going Outside, Wear a Newspaper and a Pigskin Jacket

Two more stabbings today. If you’re a Jew walking around Jerusalem or any other place an Arab might try to stab you, or if you’re an Arab and you run into a bunch of crazed Lehava lunatics looking to avenge Jews by stabbing innocent people (makes sense I guess?) here’s a tip.

Before you go outside today, stuff your shirt with two newspapers, front and back. It won’t stop a knife from cutting into you completely, but it’ll probably keep it from going deep enough to kill you. Arm yourself and if you’re attacked, shoot to kill.

It’ll also be helpful to carry around some pork and throw it on any Arab who comes to kill you. Or better yet, wear a pigskin jacket.

ADL Bitches over Ben Carson Gun Control Holocaust Comments

Another instance of the Anti Defamation League being an inane asinine organization that should be shut down because it gives Jews a bad name. Ben Carson, the Republican presidential candidate who I do not like, said something correct. Namely, that had there been no gun control laws in Germany, the Jews could have better defended themselves against the Nazis.

And then the ADL got in a tizzy because that’s all it ever does. This once again proves that the Holocaust is just used as political leverage by Jewish lefty groups to further their own agendas of force on other people.

Because forbidding guns for other people is much more important to lefty Jews than learning the actual lessons of the Holocaust. One of those lessons is, to paraphrase Ghostbusters, “When a government asks you to give up your guns, you say…NO.”

Jew puts pig on murderer’s body, media calls that “extremism”

Saw this on MSN today. It’s my home page. I didn’t change it yet. This is the mayor of Kiryat Arba approving what the Jew did by putting pig on the murderer’s body. Some Muslims think that if pig touches their body, they won’t go to heaven for killing Jews.

The vice mayor of Kiryat Arba, Israel Bramson, backed up the extreme [sic] action. “I was there when it happened,” he said. “I think it’s a very basic and legitimate reaction. I do not condemn what happened. They should not get their bodies back. We need to throw them in the sea in the best case. The murderer came to slaughter Jews and we needed to treat [his body] as we treated it.

Leave it to the media to call putting meat on a dead body “extreme” while saying nothing of the intent to slaughter innocent people. Pig all the murderers and attempted murderers and burn them, or dump them in the Mediterranean, whichever is cheaper.

Great. Now Jews are attacking random Arabs in Netanya with an attempted lynch and Dimona with a stabbing. I am assuming these reports are true and the attacks were unprovoked.

Assuming they are true, let’s be clear about this. Any person that attacks any other innocent person with the intent to kill, should be killed. I don’t want to pay for a Jewish attempted or successful murderer’s housing and food any more than I want to pay for an Arab’s.

Any Jew that attacks any other person intending to kill that is not attacking him should be eliminated.
